Do you need a grassy area to install our stork signs for baby announcements?

Our baby stork signs require a traditional grassy lawn for installation. By ‘lawn’, we mean an unobstructed piece of land covered with grass. Unfortunately, we cannot install signs on surfaces like rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, thick landscaping, hard-packed soil, or small boulders, as the sign needs to be staked 10 inches into the ground. Additionally, we do not install signs in commercial areas or on properties owned by city, county, or state governments, such as near public utility boxes or water mains, to avoid fines and access issues.

If you live in an apartment or don’t have a traditional lawn, you can order just the personalized baby bundle instead.

When should you order a birth announcement sign? What’s the deadline for next-day delivery?

Due to the unpredictability of birth timings, we cannot take advance reservations for birth announcements. Please place your order through our website as soon as the baby arrives to ensure a stork is delivered within 48 hours. For events like Baby Showers and Sip & Sees, we do accept advanced bookings.

How long can you rent a stork sign? What are the costs?

Our stork signs for new baby announcements are available for a 5-day rental period. If you need the sign removed sooner, just give us a call. For events, the rental period is 1 day. The cost is $115 for a 5-day baby announcement rental. Event rentals range from $50-$65 for a day. Delivery fees vary based on distance from our base, with $10 delivery up to 20 miles, $20 for 20.1-25 miles, and $30 for 25.1-30 miles. Sibling/message stars, dog bones, and cat signs are priced at $25 each and are yours to keep after the rental.

What options are available for multiple births or grandparents?

Grandparents can also join the celebration with a 5-day rental, choosing from either a generic or personalized bundle to showcase the baby’s details for $85 and $115 respectively. For multiple births, we install a separate stork for each baby. You can order multiple storks online or give us a call at 270-564-0626

Where do we place the sign?

We place the stork sign in an optimal location for visibility and photography. If you have a specific placement in mind, please inform us when ordering. We strive to meet your preference but cannot guarantee exact placement without your presence or marked location.

Can the sign be moved or modified during the rental?

Please do not move or alter the signs. Contact us if relocation within your yard is needed, as moving the signs yourself can cause damage. Also, avoid using mowers or weed eaters near the signs, and do not attach items like balloons, which can cause damage to the sign.

What if the sign gets damaged?

If any damage occurs to the stork sign during the rental, please contact us immediately. While our signs are durable and weather-resistant, they are not meant for climbing. The renter assumes responsibility for the sign and any damages incurred may lead to additional charges.

How to order and payment details?

Place your order through our online form and pay using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express via PayPal. All payments must be made in advance of delivery.

What is our refund policy?

Refunds are provided if you cancel your rental at least 48 hours in advance or if extreme weather conditions prevent us from installing the sign.
